Instructions: Melt 1/2 C. butter; add 1 C. brown sugar. Bring to a boil; stir 1 minute or until slightly thick. Cool slightly. Add 1/4 C. milk; beat smooth. Beat in about 3 1/4 C. powdered sugar until of spreading consistency. Frosts tops and sides of 2 8-inch layers. (This is my favorite one!)
