Instructions: Butter lightly a 9x5x3-inch pan. Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan except for vanilla and nuts. Cook, stirring over low heat until sugars are dissolved. Turn heat up to medium and cook to 244 degrees or until a little dropped in cold water forms a firm ball. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans.
Turn into prepared pan; let cool slightly and cut into 36 pieces. This candy does not harden, so after it is cut, wrap each piece in clear plastic wrap. Email this Recipe:
