Instructions: Combine butter and sugar in saucepan, stir over low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves and mixture turns to thick syrup; bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 3 minutes.
Combine water, vanilla, golden syrup and cornflour, mix until smooth, add to brown sugar mixture, stir until smooth. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in cream. Serve warm or cold. Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups. Email this Recipe:
