Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1/2 cup white basmati rice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp coriander
1 x -1/2 tsp. oil (I use olive oil)
1 cup water
1 tsp maple syrup (more if you like it sweeter)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp currants, raisins, or dates
1 tbl chopped pecans or slivered almonds
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine rice, nutmeg, cardamom, and coriander in pan with oil. Saute until rice smells nutty. Add rest of ingredients, cover and cook approximately 15 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. I serve mine with soy milk.
