Instructions: Use tart apples such as Winesap, Jonathan or Rome Beauty, if available. Cut cylindrical core from apples and place apples in a pan. In the core hole of each apple, place sugar, raisins and cinnamon. Place pan in oven: cover and bake about 30 minutes.
