3/4 cup Sugar
1 cup Grated carrot
1 cup Raisins
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Grated nutmeg
1 tsp Ground cloves
1/2 cup Water
3 tbl Margarine
2 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with margarine. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, carrot, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, water and margarine. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour into a mixing bowl and cool to lukewarm. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Stir in walnuts. Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour or until a cake tester comes out clean.
