1 jar junior baby food carrots
1 cup margarine - (2 sticks)
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 x egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup walnuts chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: In a medium bowl, cream shortening, sugars and egg together. Add carrots and vanilla.

Stir together flours, wheat germ, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins.

Drop by tablespoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes.

This recipe yields 30 cookies.
