1/2 cup orange juice
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 cup jullienne-cut carrot
3/4 cup jullienne-cut parsnip
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine first 6 ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Add carrot and parsnip; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 6 minutes or until tender. Drain and spoon vegetables into a serving bowl; drizzle with maple syrup.

NOTE:
Use real maple syrup, and not the imitation pancake syrup, for this recipe.
