1 cup	Young carrots pared and
	Sliced crosswise
1/2 cup	Sliced raw apples
1 tsp	Grated orange rind
1 cup	Sugar
3 tbl	Flour
1/8 tsp	Cinnamon
1/8 tsp	Nutmeg

Instructions:

Instructions: Cook carrots in salted water until barely tender. Mix all ingredients lightly. Put into pastry lined pie pan, sprinkle with 1 tsp flour and dot with 1 tsp butter. Cover with pastry. bake about 30 minutes in a very hot oven, 425 or until apples are tender
