Instructions: Cut chicken into serving size pieces. Wash and dry. Salt and pepper to taste. Heat salad oil in a heavy skillet. Brown chicken, then place in roaster or large casserole. To make barbecue sauce, combine 1 catsup, Worcestershire sauce, water, cider vinegar, onion, garlic and A-1 steak sauce. Pour over chicken and cover. Bake at 325 for 1 hour or until tender.
