Heat the butter in a large skillet over moderate heat and saute the garlic until it begins to turn brown. Remove and discard the garlic. Saute the cauliflower in the olive oil until it is lightly coated with butter. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes and cook covered for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs. Serves 4 to 6. Use this recipe for broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, or just about anything that is green. Email this Recipe:
