1 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Walnuts chopped
1/3 cup Candied orange peel chopped
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Ground cloves
1/2 tsp Anise seed
Instructions:
Instructions: * Nut cakes of Italy.

Cook the sugar and water together until the syrup spins a thread. Remove from heat and add the nuts, spices and orange peel. Add the flour and knead into a smooth dough. Roll thin, cut into small squares or round shapes and bake at 350 until light brown, 8-12 minutes.
