Instructions: In bowl, combine brown sugar, apple sauce, molasses, & egg til well blended. In seperate blowl, combine flour, baking soda & spices. Stir in molasses mixture. Drop by tspfulls 2" apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar & bake at 375 degrees for 8- 10 mns.
