1 cup Pillsburys Best All-Purpose Flour*, sifted
1/4 cup Confectioners sugar
1/2 cup Butter
1/4 cup Pillsburys Best All-Purpose Flour*
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Double-acting baking powder
1/4 tsp Salt
2 x Eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup Maraschino cherries, finely cut
1/2 cup Coconut
Instructions:
Instructions: BAKE at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then for 30 to 40 minutes.

dozen. Sift together the 1 cup flour with the confectioners sugar. Cut n butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture firmly into ungreased 11 x 7 or 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 10 minutes. Sift together into mixing bowl 1/4 cup flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs. Stir in maraschino cherries, coconut, and walnuts. Spread over partially-baked mixture. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 30 to 40 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.
*For use with Pillsburys Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking powder and salt.
