Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 400=BAF (200=BAC).
2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or a fork to make coarse crumbs. Add Cheddar and chives. 3. Stir in buttermilk, just enough to make a soft sticky dough. Drop 12 heaping tablespoonfuls onto a large greased baking sheet. Sprinkle tops with additional chopped chives. 4. Bake on middle rack of oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until edges are coloured. Transfer biscuits to a rack to cool. Email this Recipe:
