Instructions: In a bowl cream together the Cheddar, butter, Sherry, salt and Tabasco. Stir in walnuts.
At hostess: Spread the mixture on the pita and broil the toasts under a preheated broiler about 2 inches from the heat for 1 - 2 minutes - or until the topping is browned lightly and bubbly. Makes 32 hors doeuvres NOTES : The Cheddar Walnut Toasts were quite rich. Email this Recipe:
