Instructions: Preheat oven to 325F. Butter a 2 quart casserole. Tear bread into chunks and spread with butter and mustard; place in casserole. If using ham, scatter over bread. Spread cheese over. Mix milk, eggs and seasonings, pour over. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or refrigerate as long as overnight and then bake 45-50 minutes. Serve immediately.
