Instructions: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F..
Boil the squash in a very little bit of water with lid on until almost tender. Remove lid, add butter or bacon drippings and let water cook out of squash. In a bowl, combine squash, onion, eggs, butter, sugar, salt, pepper, pimentos, milk and cracker crumbs. Pour into a greased 8-by-8-inch baking dish. Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes.
