56 gm glace cherries
112 gm plainflour
112 gm rolled porridge oats
84 gm desiccated coconut
224 gm caster sugar
1 tbl golden syrup
112 gm butter

Instructions: Method
1 Finely chop the cherries and place in a bowl with flour oats coconut and sugar approx mix together 2 Measure syrup into a pan add the butter and heat gently until the fat has melted 3 Add melted mixture with dissolved bicarbonate of soda to the dry ingredients approx mix together thoroughly 4 Divide mixture into small balls place apart on baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork 5 Place in preheated oven and bake until light golden brown in colour 6 When cooked remove from the oven leave biscuits on the trays for a few minutes to crisp before placing on a cooling tray

servings: 24 biscuits

small oven: 150 degrees C approx 15-20 minutes PREHEATED middle shelf
fan oven: 140 degrees C approx 15-20 minutes PREHEATED
