Instructions: Cream sugar and butter; add milk, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
Put into well-buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix cherries, sugar and butter together. Pour boiling water over this mixture and mix to dissolve sugar. Heat to boiling, then pour over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. (Cherries and sauce will go to the bottom.) Email this Recipe:
