Instructions: Bring to a boil the cherries and water or fruit juice. Stir in a mixture of; sugar, water, Clear Jel, salt, lemon juice and almond flavoring.
Boil 2 minutes longer, and add a few drops of red food coloring. Pour warm or cold in unbaked pie shell. Put a lid on and glaze it with milk. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 450 degrees until golden brown. Email this Recipe:
