Instructions: Place uncooked chicken in a large pot and pour enough water over chicken to completely cover. Add lemon pepper, garlic salt, onion powder to add flavor to chicken. (You can add whatever spices you would like to flavor the chicken). Once cooked (approx. 20 minutes) drain and cut chicken into bite sized pieces and place in 12x7.5x1.5 casserole dish. Melt butter in a sauce pan add flour, sour cream, soup, chilies, onion powder and warm until the boiling point (do not boil). Pour over chicken and sprinkle cheese and olives (if desired) on top. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Here is one of my family favorite recipes. By no stretch of the imagination is it a low-fat dish, but my husband and I love to settle down to it every once in a while.
