Ingredients:

3 lb Chicken (up to 4)
4 tbl Butter
1 lrg Onion, chopped
2 x Cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup White wine
1 x Inch cinnamon stick
1/4 tsp Sugar
1 x Bay leaf
1 can (16 oz) whole tomatoes, chopped
2 tbl Tomato paste, OR
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut chicken into serving size pieces; wash and towel dry. In a heavy saucepan melt butter; brown chicken pieces. Remove to a plate and set aside. Over Medium heat, add onion and garlic to saucepan and brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1- minutes. Return chicken to pan an simmer for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
