Instructions: Saute onion in shortening. Add seasonings and chicken; saute for 10 minutes.
Add water. Cover and simmer slowly until chicken is tender or falls off the bone, your choice. Remove chicken, then add sour cream to pan drippings. Mix well. Add dumplings (recipe at left). Heat through. Slide onto plates and arrange chicken on top. Email this Recipe:
