Instructions: * Note: Long-grain white rice can be substituted for the wild rice; reduce simmering time to 20 to 30 minutes.
In a large saucepan, combine condensed broth and 2 cups water. Add wild rice and green onions. Simmer 35 to 40 minutes, until rice is tender. In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Add half-and-half; cook about 2 minutes, until mixture thickens slightly, stirring constantly. Slowly add half-and-half mixture to rice mixture, stirring constantly.
