1 can chicken broth - (14 1/2 oz)
2 pkt chicken Dijon recipe mix - (1.7 oz ea),
such as Knorr
1 tsp ground cinnamon
6 x garlic cloves minced
Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
(2 to 3 tablespoons juice)
1 x onion quartered, and
thinly sliced
8 oz dried mission figs halved
2 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts
Instructions:
Instructions: In a 4-quart slow cooker, mix together the chicken broth, recipe mix, cinnamon, garlic and zest and juice of the lemon. Stir in the onion and figs. Push the chicken pieces down into the mixture in the pot. Cover and cook on the LOW heat setting about 6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender but still moist.
