Ingredients:

16 x Dried prunes
1/4 cup Vinegar
1/4 cup Orange juice
1 cup Chicken broth
4 tbl Firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
4 med Sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 x Boneless and skinless chicken breast halves

1/2 cup Dry vermouth
2 x Cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
Instructions: In a large stock pot combine the prunes, vinegar, orange juice,broth,vermouth, garlic, oregano, sugar, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Add the sweet potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes.

Place the chicken breasts on top of the potatoes, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are done.

Skim the fat from the broth. If desired, dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add it to the broth. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
