10 lrg eggs beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
4 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
1 pt small curd cottage cheese
1 can Ortega diced green chiles - (7 oz)
1/2 cup butter - (1 stick) melted
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine eggs, flour and baking powder in medium bowl. Add butter, Monterey Jack cheese, cottage cheese and chiles and butter; stir well. Spoon into 13- by 9-inch baking pan. Top with tortilla chips.

Bake for 15 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cut into squares.

This recipe yields 12 servings.

Comments: Serve topped with Ortega salsa for a delicious accompaniment to grilled chicken or beef, or cut into smaller squares for an appetizer.
