2 tbl canola oil
2 lrg garlic cloves pressed
1 tbl chili powder
1 dsh ground red pepper
2 lb boneless beef top sirloin cut 1" pieces
8 x green onions cut 2" pieces
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine oil, garlic, chili powder and red pepper in a bowl. Add beef and green onions; toss to coat. Let marinate 20 minutes.

Prepare a medium heat grill. On eight 12-inch metal skewers, alternately thread beef and green onion pieces. Grill kebabs 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally, for medium-rare to medium doneness. Season to taste with salt; sprinkle with parsley.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Instead of onions, we used scallions, which are lower in carbs, in our kabobs."
