Ingredients:

3 lrg sweet onions chopped
3 med bell peppers chopped
40 oz canned kidney beans rinsed
40 oz canned tomatoes cubed
1 cup vermouth sweet
3 tsp salt adjust to taste
1 tsp black pepper to taste
1 tbl chili powder adjust to taste
6 whl cloves ground
3 lrg bay leaves
1 pch cayenne adjust to taste
1 tsp paprika
1 dsh nutmeg ground
4 tsp basil sweet
9 oz spinach pasta, fresh fettuccine, NOTE 1
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute the onions in olive oil until transparent. Add the bell peppers and saute for 5 more minutes. Add the tomatoes, wine, spices, herbs and kidney beans. Simmer for 30 minutes. During this time, prepare the fettuchini according to package directions. Have it ready to add at the end of the simmering time (not too much sooner). Add the fettuchine and simmer for 5 additional minutes. Remove the bay leaves, before serving.

NOTE 1: Di Giorno Pasta- Spinach Fettuccine (From the refrigerated food section of your grocery store.)

NOTES : This is a mild chili. Adjust seasoning accordingly.
