Instructions: Combine butter in skillet or sauce pan. Add the onion, celery, green peppers and ground beef, saute until meat is brown but not crusty, drain.
Stir frequently separating meat with a fork. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, sugar, cloves and chili powder, blend well. Cover. Over high heat until the mixture steams, then reduce heat to simmer and cook 45 minutes. Remove cloves, add kidney beans and simmer 15 minutes longer. Email this Recipe:
