Ingredients:

6 lb Ripe tomatoes
1/4 cup Pickling salt
2 cup Onions, finely chopped
2 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Red pepper, finely chopped
1 cup Cider vinegar
1 sm Hot pepper, finely chopped
1 tbl Celery seeds
1 pch Cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Peel, seed, finely chop tomatoes. In large bowl combine tomatoes, onions, pepper and salt. Let stand 2 hours. Drain well. In large kettle, combine vegetables with remaining ingredients; bring to boil and cook, uncovered for 15 min. or to desired consistency. Ladle into hot sterile jars, seal, label and store in cool dry dark place.

Makes 7 1/2 cups.
