Place yoghurt in a glass bowl use a whisk to beat yoghurt until smooth. Gradually add cream whisk well after each addition. Stir in finely chopped red chilli and salt. Peel and chop bananas into small even pieces. Stir banana into yoghurt mixture mix well. Serve chilled with a garnish of sliced red or green chilli if using. Note: Chilli Banana Yoghurt is a delicious accompaniment to spicy curries. The creamy yoghurt and banana soothes the palate and the small amount of chilli adds zest. Plain yoghurt can be flavoured with crushed garlic grated ginger and ground cumin and a little chilli powder for an easy accompaniment. Serves 6 Email this Recipe:
