Instructions: Chilli sauce is a bright red hot sauce which is made from chillis vinegars sugar and salt. It is sometimes used for cooking but it is mainlY used as a dipping sauce. There are various brands available in many supermarkets and Chinese grocers and you should experiment with them until you find the one you like best. If you find it too strong dilute it with hot water. Do not confuse this sauce withthe chilli bean sauce mentioned abovewhich is amuch thicker darker sauce used for cooking.
