Instructions: Prepare the linguine according to the package directions; drain, rinse, and drain again. Set aside in a covered dish to keep warm.
Heat the peanut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sesame seeds and saute for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the seeds are golden brown. Reduce the heat to medium-low; add the vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, crushed red pepper, and chicken chunks and heat for about 2 minutes. Add to the linguine and toss until well combined. Sprinkle with the chopped scallions and serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve. Serve cold or rewarmed. This recipe yields 4 servings.
