Instructions: Our family meals always ended with a plate of fresh oranges sliced into wedges. Occasionally during the summer we had special treats such as wedges of watermelon or honeydew melon instead. It has always struck me how appropriate simple fresh fruits are after a Chinese meal. They are invariably refreshing cleansing the palate and adding a final sweet note to the end of a meal. I think it is probably one of the most pleasing and sensible desserts for a Chinese or any other meal and it is easy!
