Instructions: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in rice. Remove from heat;cover and let stand 5 minutes. Cook egg in butter in a 10" skillet until set. Add onion and rice. Cook and stir over medium heat until rice and onion are lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Combine remaining water and the soy sauce;stir into rice.
