2 cup	Sugar
2 cup	Flour
1/2 tsp	Salt
1/2 cup	Butter
1/2 cup	Crisco
1/4 cup	Cocoa
1 cup	Water
1/2 cup	Buttermilk
1 tsp	Soda
1 tsp	Vanilla
2 x	Eggs
	----------------- CHOCOLATE ICING ----------------
1/2 cup	Butter
1/4 cup	Cocoa
6 tbl	Milk
1 tsp	Vanilla

Instructions:

Instructions: Sift sugar,flour & salt together. Mix in sauce pan butter,crisco, cocoa & water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Pour into sifted mixture, stir and add buttermilk, vanilla,eggs and soda. Bake at 400 deg 25-30 minutes.

***CHOCOLATE ICING*** Mix in sauce pan butter, milk, cocoa and vanilla and bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar, and ice while cake is hot.
