Instructions: In small saucepan, combine Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, heavy cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to small bowl; cool 15 minutes. Gradually add confectioners sugar and almond extract; beat well.
Perfect for angel food or sponge cake. Pour over cake while glaze is still warm. Garnish with chopped toasted almonds, if desired. Chill to set glaze. Makes 1-1/4 cups glaze. Email this Recipe:
