200 gm cooking chocolate
100 gm butter
1/2 cup sugar
4 x eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
----------------- APRICOT SAUCE ----------------
1 cup dried apricots
Instructions:
Instructions: Brownies:
Melt cooking chocolate and butter together over a medium heat.

Remove from heat and stir in sugar and cool slightly.

Add eggs and beat with a wooden spoon to combine.

Mix in flour, baking powder and vanilla until smooth.

Pour into a baking paper-lined 20cm square cake tin. Bake at 190 C for 40-45 minutes or until brownie is set.

Make Apricot Sauce and pour over brownie.

Apricot Sauce:
Place apricots in a saucepan with orange juice and bring to the boil.

Simmer for 10 minutes. Leave to cool.

Puree in a food processor.
