2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar -- divided
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup butter -- divided
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup milk
Instructions:
Instructions: In large bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Using pastry blender or two knives, cut in 1/3 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in chocolate chips. Add milk; stir until dough holds a shape. On floured board, knead dough lightly. Roll dough into 16 balls. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In small saucepan, melt remaining butter. Pour half of melted butter in 8 inch square baking pan. In cup, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/3 cinnamon/sugar mixture over butter in baking pan. Place dough balls in single layer in pan. Brush with remaining melted butter. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm. 16 bks
