Instructions: Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time until well blended. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Stir in flour mixture alternately with buttermilk until smooth and well blended. Pour into greased and floured 9x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 35 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on rack.
