Instructions: Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler. Melt over boiling water. Combine sugar, syrup, eggs, salt and vanilla. Blend sugar mixture into butter mixture and turn into pie shell. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 35 minutes until set.
