Instructions: Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt together and beat until foamy. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time and beat after each addition until sugar is well blended.

Continue beating mixture until it forms still peaks. Fold in chocolate chips, vanilla, and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 300F for about 25 minutes. Remove from paper while still warm.
