Instructions: Heat oven to 350:F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In large saucepan, combine butter, unsweetened chocolate and 1 1/2 cups chocolate morsels. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted; cool.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In med bowl with mixer at med speed, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla. Gradually add flour, beating well. Add chocolate mixture; beat well. Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups chocolate morsels and pecans. Drop dough by 2 tablespoonfuls 1" apart onto parchment paper or waxed paper lined cookie sheets. Bake 10 mins at 350:F. Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks to cool completely. These double chocolate cookies are similar in texture to a brownie. Email this Recipe:
