5 tbl corn-starch
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp table salt
1/3 cup cold milk
1 cup scalded milk
plus
1 cup scalded Half & Half
1/2 sqr unsweetened chocolate
3 tbl hot water
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix corn-starch, sugar, and salt. Add cold milk and mix well.

In top of double boiler over boiling water, heat milk plus Half & Half to scald point - Just below boiling. Do not boil - Add combined corn starch, sugar, salt and milk mixture to scalded milk. Cook over hot water ten minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.

In top of double boiler over boiling water or in metal mixing bowl over boiling water, melt chocolate, add hot water, stir until smooth, and add to cooked mixture. Remove from heat. Fold in Pure Vanilla Extract.

Pour into dish or mold. Cover and chill several hours in the refrigerator.

Serve with slightly sweetened cold whipped cream.
