Instructions: Place dates, butter, honey & milk into a pan. Stir over a low heat for 2-3 mins, do not allow to boil. Allow to cool. Preheat oven to moderately slow 160 degrees C. Lightly grease and line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper. Sift flours, cocoa, ginger and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Make a well in the center. Add eggs to cold mixture and then pour into flour. Mix until combined. Spoon into the pan. Bake for 30-35 mins or until a skewer comes out clean. Cut warm pudding into triangles and transfer to plates. Top with sauce & serve with whipped cream.
