Instructions: Heat oven to 350. Remove half of cookie dough from packaging. Chill remaining half of dough until needed. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with 3 inch floured heart shaped cookie cutters. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until light golden. Cool cookies completely. Heat chocolate chips and shortening together until melted. Dip half of each cookie in to chocolate mixture. Place on wax paper. Chill until chocolate is set. Repeat with remaining dough.
