Instructions: Cream butter. Blend in brown sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour. Chill dough 30 minutes. Form 1-inch balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg white, then in ground nuts. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Make a slight depression in center with tip of teaspoon or finger. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and fill depression with Chocolate Filling.
Chocolate Filling: Melt butter and chocolate over hot water. Stir in corn syrup and water until smooth and thickened. Cool, add flavoring. Email this Recipe:
