Instructions: Melt chocolate and butter in heavy saucepan. Add half and half and sugar. Mix well. Cook fast until it comes to a boil, then turn down the heat. Bring to a soft ball ( use a candy thermometer). Cool slightly and add vanilla. Beat with a mixer a until it reaches spreading consistency.
